I spent the morning with lots of activities. My friends have two children: Louis e Clemence. I’m Louis’s godfather so we went shopping 😁 He choosed a 3D Labyrinth sphere which also his sister Clemence liked a lot and I added a big watergun on top. He was thrilled!

Later we walked through the city center to attend a theatrical representation, with their daughter Clemence playing a sorceress in a play similar to Harry Potter, only with other 12 children, all of them speaking French. It was great to get such a snapshot of France life.
When we returned home, their grandparents had arrived and since we’ve been knowing each other for a long time, we had a chat together. I kept testing my French and they excercised their German. Many people in Alsace, the region close to Germany, can speak German.

After that we had lunch together, drank Pastis (an alcohlic aperitif anise-flavoured) and wine and in the afternoon, we visited their new house, After two years renovation, they should be able to move soon in it.
I left my friends and Strasbourg with new good memories and put Lollo’s wheels on the route to the Voges, a range of mountains developing South.
The ride was very exciting and suddenly: after an hair-pin curve, while accelerating a very little deer jumped out of the woods. I reacted fast and slowed down. Once the deer realised what was going on, immediately turned around but slipped and fell on the road. My index finger squeezed the Brembo front brake even more, while the Ducati electronics did the rest. I almost completely stopped, giving the time to the little deer to get up and disappear back to it came from. That was close!
On the way I found a nice little bar in the middle of nowhere and ordered a glass of Crémant. Same process as the champagne but less hyped and expensive. Good to relax after the deer encounter 😂

As the sunset approached, it was time to look for a place for the night. The camping of Kaysersberg was just 15 minutes away and so I concluded a nice long day.

La puzza in realtá l‘ho sentita due giorni dopo quando ne é spuntato fuori un‘altro adulto mentre stavo viaggiando allegro 😅
