The camping lake is only 3 Kms away from the town of Ohrid. Perfect day for a walk to discover the surroundings.

Do you know how is it called a “fruit salad” in Italian? Macedonia. Some say this name has to do with the blend of different cultures of this country. I couldn’t resist and had a macedonia in Macedonia 😆
Ohrid has many small paths and it’s wonderful to walk around and get lost in them while discovering the town.
The fortress on the top provides a gorgeous panorama of the lake and its surroundings
Walking down from the fortress, it’s easy for the eye to get caught in little details and nice shots.
What a fantastic time I had in this town. Definitely the highlight of Macedonia for me. For lunch I had a Moussaka, then I walked back to the camp site and had a swim.
I considered staying one night longer and enjoying the lake and the atmosphere. But then packed my stuff and jumped again on my motorcycle destination Albania 🇦🇱
After passing the Albanian Border, were everyone spoke Italian with me, I headed to the town of Berat.
Now, I had many riding sessions during this journey. When it comes to tarmac, most of these session were quite technical, involving curves with tight radiuses in the woods with limited visibility of the upcoming section and dirty/upset surfaces.
This riding session made me shout again Wohoooo in my helmet for longer than 1h. The tarmac was in better condition, the curves were wide with an open radius and optimal visibility ahead. Few cars were around. By far the most entertaining fast paced riding session, were I was able to use all the power and lean angles the Ducati Multistrada offers. More like a MotoGP session 🙌
Few Kms from Berat I had a pause to drink some water and found this sheep starring at me, like I was from another planet 😂
