After driving 377 Km there must be something interesting to see. Indeed, I was very close to the Slovakia Raj also called Paradise.
I took a bus in the early morning and arrived in a town called Hrabuťice where one of the entrances of the park is located. The first trail was called Suchå Belå. I never had to pay for a trail but this time it costed 1,50⏠to get in.

You know what Iâm going to say now: fantastic experience, possibly even better than the last one đ
Before you think: âcome on Raffa, for you everytime is better than the last one!â, have a look at the pics and videos below.

I donât know if it exists already a definition for this kind of trails. I called it a technical trail. Oh boy, it was so much fun đ¤Š
Even if the ascent is just about 5 Km long, it took me two hours to get to the top. I enjoyed every meter.

Brilliant hike with lots of fun. I canât recommend it enough!
This kind of trails are usually only one way and the path to go back is a normal trail. While on the way back, I found a bifurcation leading to Klastorisko.
There, was an old wooden hut with wooden tables and chairs outside in the sun âď¸

Here is where I met Martin, who was going to change my day. I asked him for a local beer and some Information about the next trails. As soon as he found out I was Italian, we bonded. He started saying âgrazie ragazzi!â like Vettel in Formula one đ then he walked with me outside and in front of the big wall map, we began brainstorming:
The Ferrata!
Me: sure, whatâs that?
He: Aah itâs easy, but you need an helmet and the carabiners.
Me: how many have died trying?
He: Itâs easy! Just go down the mountain for half an hour and then 2h to climb up again plus 20 minutes to come back here.
Later, at the end of the Ferrata there was a memorial stone for a girl, who accidentally died in 1985âŚ.
Martin went back inside to set me up for the ferrata. Meanwhile a young couple approached me and asked if I spoke German. Daniel and Hanna from Dresden were also interested in knowing the possible trails. They also did SuchĂĄ BelĂĄ and liked now the idea of the Ferrata but needed a drink first.
Iâll see you there! I said.

On the Ferrata I met Jan and Sylvia, a couple from Bratislava. We took some photos for each other and chatted on the way up.

Before the last perpendicular climb, Daniel and Hanna joined us. They also enjoyed the 2 hours trip. We all had climbed over 300m.
Back to Klastorisko, we all met Martin again. Time for another beer!
Martin came out with a round of shots. These are on the house! Itâs a Slovakian liquor called Tatratea, itâs 52% alchool but there is also a 72% version. He said.
Cheers đĽđ

It was 4:30pm, I hiked for several hours and my beer glass was still half full. After the liquor and the rest of the beer, I was⌠âhappyâ đ¤Ł
It was time to walk home. I greeted Daniel, Hanna, Jan and Sylvia. We truly had a great time together.
I went inside the hut and gave a big hug to Martin. Grazie ragazzi! đ
As soon as I began my way back, the rain started to fall. Follows a video with me half drunk climbing over 10m height while holding just a chain. The audio is original and completely in Italian đ

I still had a long way home and while walking at a fast pace, I sae in front of me a couple looking like Jan and Sylvia.
I called their names, they turned around and looked at me like âwhat are you doing here?â. They had left about 20 minutes after me and apparently took a much shorter path than me.
Our conversation got more personal. They like to travel a lot and have two little daughters at home. Usually they travel together. They asked my story and we enjoyed the conversation.
We decided to have dinner together. I wanted to take a photo but the battery was out of juice. After dinner they were so kind to drive me to the place I was staying for the night.
You should have seen my clothes and my shoes. I was looking like a piece of the forest. What an experience. So many great people and moments.
I put my phone to charge and checked my trip stats: 26 Kms, 800m drop.
Shower, bed, good night.
