It has been a week that my journey has begun. It feels much longer, probably because of the so many new experiences. I feel the effects of yesterday’s hike and ride in my bones and muscles. I’m pretty tired but life is good.

Telč is a wonderful little town with lots of charme and a calm atmosphere. It is an UNESCO world heritage site and has some traits of a fairy tale location.

This little gem has also a castle with a old tower like in dungeons and dragons.

After the sightseeing is time to jump again on “Lollo” (my motorcycle’s nickname) and slalom through the Moravian hills (we left Bohemia).

I have to admit that while camping is fun, when things gets wet, it takes a lot of time to pack. Time that I can use in a better way. The same goes for lunch as cooking while on the road is nice but also time consuming. When you add the fact that life in Cezc Republic is cheaper than in central Europe, it makes sense to take an accommodation when it rains or in big cities (especially for parking) and have a prepared meal on the way.

I’m driving to Brno. The second biggest city in Czech Republic.
Why didn’t I visit Prague? I really like Prague and I’ve been there twice so I prefer to visit something I’ve seen yet.

Brno is a student city with a laid back atmosphere. Lots of bars, tables on the streets and even deckchairs!

Have a look at the pink deckchairs around the fountain. You can spot them in every corner of the city and people just seat and relax with drinks bought from small kiosks on wheels.

One day, two cities plus a serpentine of asphalt joining them through the hills. Another nice experience.
