So where I left… ah yes: Italy European Football Champion 🇮🇹😃
Not to brag about it but rather to reconnect to the story. As the match ended around midnight, when I went back to the camping, the gate was locked. All dark and no one around.
The gate was quite high but I was keen to go to sleep, so I found a creative way to climb over it. It reminded me my childhood, when sometimes I returned home but nobody was there so I had to climb over to get at least into the garden.
Around 9:30am I left for a hike in the Adrspach-Teplice Rock Park. I wanted to complete the tour in about 4h and then drive to the next destination: Telč.
Boy I was wrong. This park turned out to be even better than the last one!!
The main attraction are the two “piselloni” which translates toughly to the two big ones.
Nice indeed but I got into the park from a secondary entrance and experienced this:
Totally amazing and the video does it only half justice! This place is like a natural water and fun park.
There is so much to show but let me try to summarise it with some key photos and videos.
At one point I’ve found a narrow passage through the rocks. Like the ones you see in the movies or in a video game of Tomb Raider. I couldn’t resist and I scratched my watch on the rocks 😅
A mini “Grand Canyon” im Europe is the best definition for this wonderful spot.
Follows one of the most photographed rocks, an upside down cone. Notice how many would sticks people have put at the bottom to keep the rock steady. By the way the child survived 😁✌🏻
Last but not least a gorgeous lake:
My hike was planned for 16km and 4h I came back with over 20Km under my hills in approximately 6h. Worth it!
I was tired but very happy. If you ever drop in camping Kemenec, say hi to Renata. She runs the camping all herself and let me keep my bike parked for longer that day. Thanks!
Usually after such an adventure, you should call it a day. But I wanted to ride to a town called Telč, about 230Km away. It took me over 4h but who cares😆
On the way, fantastic views like the one here below, some light off-road because I loved the trees on the roadside and even some real off-road, of which I’ve no pictures simply because it was very steep both up and down hill, curvy and with big stones. It was the unexpected result of a forced detour and the brilliant idea of my sat nav. I enjoyed it!
